(Talinum paniculatum) 35 days. Purslane relative with elegant panicles of 38 in. pink flowers. Mild leaves are succulent, light green, and eye-catching. Great in salads, on sandwiches, and as a spinach substitute. Also has medicinal uses. The seedstalks are attractive in dried arrangements - seedpods dry down through shades of orange, red, brown, gold, and grey. 2-3 ft. tall plants can reach 3 ft. wide.
